A native of California, I moved to Oregon three years ago from New Jersey with my daughter and her family. My mother, and her brother and sister, have been living in Oregon for over 35 years. I may be new to living in Oregon, but Oregon has always been a place for our family.
I’m currently very involved in exploring my world through mixed-media art. How did I not know about this part of myself? I love spending time with my grandson—drawing, painting, building, and making robots. I’ve also been involved in a bhakti-yoga tradition for over 40 years and find great sustenance and inspiration from it.
I’ve had such a variety of jobs over the years—teacher (computers, robotics, inventions, office skills), production editor, concrete production manager, keypunch operator, construction worker, tree trimmer, database manager, senior administrative assistant, and librarian. But overall, my current job is taking care of myself.
I’ve been suffering from chronic fatigue and have seen quite a few doctors, naturopaths, and homeopaths for treatment. Although I’m new to PEMF—I think everyone is—it’s something that has helped to reset my body, gives me energy, and eliminates pain.
As you can see, I have a technical bend and I love working with people. I love connecting with them, helping them, and getting to know them and their stories.
Hope to see you soon.
